Welcome to The Children's Clinic. Our two pediatric clinics in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area are staffed by 22 board certified pediatricians who have dedicated themselves to providing quality health care to children of all ages from infancy through adolescence. We are committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental and social health for all infants, children, adolescents and young adults. To this end, we dedicate our efforts.
The Children's Clinic was founded by Dr. Joseph Bilderback, the first pediatrician in the Northwest. He came to Portland in 1909 and founded the Pediatrics Department at the University of Oregon Medical school. In 1911, Dr. Bilderback founded The Children's Clinic, originally located in downtown Portland.
As more families came to The Children's Clinic, more pediatricians joined the practice, which resulted in several moves and expansions. We currently have two locations. Our Peterkort office is in the Peterkort Centre, near St. Vincent Hospital and the junction of US 26 & Oregon 217. Our Tualatin office is on the Meridian Park Hospital campus, just off Interstate 5 at the Tualatin-Sherwood exit.

Please Welcome Dr. Smart
We are excited to have Dr. Kari Smart join The Children’s Clinic on August 19, 2008 in a shared practice with Dr. Sara Cannon. Dr. Smart will be working every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
