I’ve known I wanted to work in pediatrics since I was a young child. Growing up, I had an amazing Pediatrician who made every visit feel fun and never scary, and that experience left a lasting impact on me. Throughout my education, every pediatric rotation confirmed that this was exactly where I was meant to be, and I feel so fortunate to be able to care for kids and their families every day.
In my practice, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while making each visit as comfortable and positive as possible. I strive to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, and children feel safe. I believe in working as a team with each child and their family to create the care plan that is best for them. I also believe in creating joy whenever possible- whether it’s through a silly joke, high-fives, or singing a child’s favorite song with them, I try to bring fun into every visit so that each child leaves with a smile!
When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy reading fantasy or mystery books, traveling to new places, and exploring the outdoors. I was born and raised in the Portland area, and I love the Pacific Northwest- I think it’s the most beautiful place to live and raise a family. You can often find me hiking, paddle boarding, or adventuring with my husband, our two daughters, and our rambunctious Australian Labradoodle named Fern.
