Kim Wollmuth, M.D.

I encourage families to take their time finding the perfect match and I am proud to work at The Children’s Clinic where our families have so many great choices. My motto is “you can like your doctor but you should love your pediatrician”.

I grew up in Oregon with a large extended family. After completing medical school at OHSU and residency at the University of Arizona, my husband and I eventually returned home to Oregon to raise our family. When our daughters were small we committed to trying to instill a love for nature and the outdoors. What began as walks to the park evolved into longer hikes. Many of our favorite family trips have been to National Parks. I hope to visit all of them in my lifetime.

What is my patient care philosophy? Each phase of childhood brings it’s own joys and challenges. My job is to partner with parents to discuss your child’s health, illnesses, and development. I hope you will pepper me with questions. I advocate for vaccinations and will recommend only using antibiotics when necessary. During the visit itself I try to foster a warm and friendly environment to put your child or teen at ease. Together we can help your child become the healthiest, happiest and most resilient person they can be.

I am Board Certified in Pediatrics and I’m honored to share a practice with Dr. Gillespie. He has been a leader in developing projects in our clinic that better support our patients and parents. We work well together and see each other’s patients when the other is out.

Every patient has a primary pediatrician. Sometimes, especially for last-minute appointments, your pediatrician may not have available appointments, so our pediatricians partner with each other to reduce wait times and improve access to care. Additionally, they partner with someone that complements their style and brings a fresh perspective to their patient’s care.
