Early on I knew being a doctor was for me. I grew up in southern oregon in the Coos Bay Area. My dad was a physician and I would go on rounds with him at an early age. I attended Oregon State University where it further strengthened my desire to go into medicine.
During medical school at OHSU, I fell in love with pediatrics. I consider it a privilege to care for children and their families from birth into young adulthood. I am drawn to the relational aspect of pediatrics and strive for excellent medical care, compassion, integrity, and good communication with my patients and their families. My goal is to serve the children and families in our community.
My husband is a gastroenterologist with the Oregon Clinic and we have 5 beautiful children. I have one child in college followed by 2 sets of adolescent twins and a labradoodle named Mojo. Because of my busy family I took some time away from medicine. I’m exited to be working in Newberg, living in the area in which I serve. I enjoy running, snow skiing, wake surfing, pickleball and being active in my church and Young Life.
