I love being a pediatrician! I get to help sick kids feel better, answer all the questions that come with being a parent, and grow a special relationship with my patients and their families. The impact a great pediatrician can have became even clearer after I had my own children.  I know first hand how terrifying it can be when you are worried about your child’s health, and a huge part of my job is reassuring you when that is appropriate, and responding quickly to your concerns when I’m worried too.

I hail from the Midwest and went to medical school at Indiana University. I completed my pediatric residency at the University of Utah, where I received exceptional training with the perk of endless outdoor opportunities.  A love for the outdoors and family nearby drew my husband and I further west to Oregon, where we have started a family and are putting down roots with our two young sons.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors – camping, going on bike rides with the family and toddler paced hikes exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I also enjoy cooking, reading, and novice gardening.

Every patient has a primary pediatrician. Sometimes, especially for last-minute appointments, your pediatrician may not have available appointments, so our pediatricians partner with each other to reduce wait times and improve access to care. Additionally, they partner with someone that complements their style and brings a fresh perspective to their patient’s care.
