Corynn holds a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University in Human Development and Family Sciences, focusing on Child Development and minoring in Psychology. She spent 15 months living and working in Quito, Ecuador in South America and has volunteered with Medical Teams International in Romania since middle school. She is a former swim instructor, early childhood educator, and Head Start Home Visitor. She is bilingual in Spanish.
As a Care Coordinator, Corynn assists families in navigating the healthcare and mental health systems and access community resources. She uses a number of approaches to help families reach their goals, such as: Patient-centered, Trauma-informed, Poverty-informed, and Strength-based practices; Motivational Interviewing; Racism and Equity; and child abuse prevention, in addition to attending numerous conferences relevant to the needs of the community. You’ll usually hear from her over the phone, but she especially loves meeting and working with you in-person at the clinic!
Corynn is an Oregon native, growing up around the Portland-Metro area. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, playing cards, hiking, photography, and volunteering at The Dougy Center. She has a 4 year old cat named Zorro who journeyed home with her from Ecuador.
